The Medical Evaluation does not have to be done by a Physician, but can be performed or evaluated by any licensed health care professional, such as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or a Physician's Assistant (PLHCP).  3M has a web-site available for on-line medical evaluations, which allows you to perform this evaluation in English, or Spanish, and takes approximately 20 minutes to administer.  The questionnaire is evaluated by a PLHCP on 3M's staff.  The pass rate is 97%, and a certificate can be printed immediately, with an email sent directly to the Respirator Program Administrator (RPA).  The cost is $25.00 per person.

Fit-Testing Services

Cardinal offers both Quantitative and Qualitative Fit-Testing Services for the industry.  IST's Portacount is available for accurate, computerized fit-testing for all tight-fitting respirators, from SCBA masks to Filtering Facepieces (double-strap dust masks)

Written Respiratory Program

Need assistance with preparing your written respiratory program?  Cardinal is available to assist you with our experienced personnel.  We can create your entire program, or assist you in creating your own.

Spanish Speaking Employees?

No problem, we have bi-lingual consultants that can work with your Spanish speaking employees to make sure they are appropriately trained and medically evaluated.

Documentation

Cardinal Safety Supply will provide you with complete documentation of your training and fit-testing, and will perform audits of your program, and notify you when your next annual fit-testing will be required.
