January 1, 2008, the new California regulations, (Title 3 California Code of Regulations, Section 6739) for respiratory protection will be in effect. These new regulations call for a complete written respiratory protection program, which involves Medical Evaluation, Fit-testing, training, program evaluation, and recordkeeping. For text of the new regulations, click here.
Cardinal Safety Supply will be providing consulting, medical evaluation assistance, fit-testing, training, and Train-the-Trainer services. Our service trailer will be stocked with safety products, Quantitative and Qualitative Fit-Testing equipment (Portacount), On-Line Medical Evaluation capability, and more. We can bring our trailer directly to our customer, resulting in minimal down-time for the employees. Each employee can take the on-line medical evaluation and fit-testing in less than a half-hour.
